Fridley Public Schools is an International Baccalaureate World School District that aims to develop internationally minded students. Our mission is to guide students in the development of learning skills to help them reach their full potential.

International Baccalaureate World Schools
Fridley Public Schools offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes to all its students. The IB curriculum framework prepares students for success in college and careers with rigorous coursework through the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme. We are one of three districts in the state of Minnesota that offers the full IB continuum, from our earliest learners to high school graduation.

Fridley Public Schools is a member of the Northwest Suburban Integration School District (NWSISD)

Through this partnership, students who reside within the seven district consortium can open enroll in our schools and receive transportation.

We are proud to offer our families online enrollment that can be accessed from your personal computer by using the Online Enrollment button below or by visiting our Enrollment Office located in the Fridley Community Center, 6085 7th Street NE, Fridley, MN 55432. Computer kiosks are available at this site for your convenience. Please Note: Online enrollment is not recommended for mobile devices. Required Documents:
New students to the district will be asked to provide the following information:

      • Proof of Residency
        (Resident families, provide one of the following: Original copy of a current lease/rental/purchase agreement, Current utility bill, Updated driver’s license with current address)
        (Non-resident families are required to complete the Statewide Enrollment Options Form)              
      • Transcript or latest report card
      • Immunization Records
      • Copy of current IEP or last evaluation plan, if applicable

What to expect after enrolling:
Middle School and High School Students:
Once you have completed the registration process, we will request records from your child’s previous school.  Once received, you will be contacted to setup a scheduling appointment and given a start date.

Elementary Students:
Once you have completed the registration process and the Enrollment Center has all necessary paperwork, your child will start within 2 to 3 days. You will receive a welcome call from the school verifying the start date.

School districts rely on state and local funding to support and maintain their schools. On November 5, 2019, Fridley Public Schools will ask its community to approve an operational referendum. Funds from operational levies are used to support academic programs for students, staffing and student support services such as social emotional learning and mental health services.

On Wednesday, October 23, all Fridley Public Schools students and staff are encouraged to wear orange in support of Unity Day and bullying prevention.

Fridley High School celebrated its homecoming week from October 7-11, 2019 which featured spirit dress-up days, a pep fest and coronation, and a Fridley Tigers football win!

Fridley Public Schools is hosting a second Operating Levy Referendum Informational Meeting on October 23, 2019. Parents and community members are invited to attend this free event to learn more about the operating levy.

Nineteen Fridley High School students became the newest members of the Minnesota Honor Society when they were officially inducted on September 30, 2019.
