Fridley Public Schools is an International Baccalaureate World School District that aims to develop internationally minded students. Our mission is to guide students in the development of learning skills to help them reach their full potential.

International Baccalaureate World Schools
Fridley Public Schools offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes to all its students. The IB curriculum framework prepares students for success in college and careers with rigorous coursework through the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme. We are one of three districts in the state of Minnesota that offers the full IB continuum, from our earliest learners to high school graduation.

Fridley Public Schools is a member of the Northwest Suburban Integration School District (NWSISD)

Through this partnership, students who reside within the seven district consortium can open enroll in our schools and receive transportation.

We are proud to offer our families online enrollment that can be accessed from your personal computer by using the Online Enrollment button below or by visiting our Enrollment Office located in the Fridley Community Center, 6085 7th Street NE, Fridley, MN 55432. Computer kiosks are available at this site for your convenience. Please Note: Online enrollment is not recommended for mobile devices. Pop-up blockers MUST BE TURNED OFF to use this online registration feature.


Required Documents:
New students to the district will be asked to provide the following information:

      • In-District Families: Please provide one of the following: original copy of a current lease/rental/purchase agreement, current utility bill, or updated driver’s license with current address
      • Out-Of-District Families: Please complete and return the required Open Enrollment Form to the enrollment coordinator via email or fax(information provided below):  Statewide Enrollment Options Form

IF you have the following available, please submit:

      • Transcript or latest report card
      • Immunization Record
      • Copy of current IEP or last evaluation plan, if applicable

What to expect after enrolling:
Middle School and High School Students - Grades 5 thru 12
Once you have completed the Online Registration and the Enrollment Office has all of the required paperwork, we will request records from the student's previous school.  When records are received and reviewed, you will be contacted by the school's dean.

Elementary Students - Grades K thru 4
Once you have completed the Online Registration and the Enrollment Office has all of the required paperwork, your child will typically start within 2 to 3 school days. You will receive a welcome call from the school confirming the start date.
