Early Childhood Screening

Will your child be attending preschool this year? Will your child be entering
kindergarten fall 2018 or 2019? If you answer yes to these questions Early
Childhood screening is for your child. Screening is a free and early look at how
your child is growing and developing. Between the ages of 3 ½ and 4, this 1
hour check focuses on your child’s vision, hearing, small and large motor skills,
language and thinking skills. Our trained screening staff will guide your child
through the process in a game-like activity to qualify these indicators. This also
presents an opportunity for parents to learn about resources available, and to
connect with the school. Minnesota requires every child to participate in an
Early Childhood Screening prior to entry into kindergarten in a public school.

Appointments are necessary.
