Passion Church gift helps eliminate student lunch debt
Posted 09/11/2019 02:44PM

Fridley Public Schools would like to thank Passion Church for its $5,000 donation to the Fridley Nutritional Services department. These funds will be used to pay off outstanding lunch balances for families whose children’s lunch accounts have accrued debt. Over the years, Passion Church has donated $8,500 to support Fridley students since January 2018.

Three members of Passion Church, Communications Director Jon Manke, Intern Mariah Adanene and Youth Pastor Andrew Isahaq, presented the check to Fridley Superintendent Dr. Kim Hiel, Director of Finance and Operations Todd Tillung and Director of Nutritional Services Renee Arbogast, on August 28, 2019.

“We take great pride in serving nutritious and fresh foods that allow all students to fuel their bodies and minds to be successful in school,” said Arbogast. “We are so appreciative of the members of Passion Church for their generous donation and support of our students.”
